Kouters Potato Trade in Dinteloord is the specialist for virtually all types of potatoes. From seed potatoes to table and chipping potatoes. We run the entire process. It starts the moment the potato comes out of the ground at the farm. They are then transported by one of our partner transporters to our location in Dinteloord, where the potatoes are sorted, washed, packed, stored or prepared for further transport.
Kouters Potato Trade
History
The Kouters history goes back more than 85 years. We have been producing and trading in potatoes since 1934. The fact that the company has remained in the hands of the family all these years can also be seen on the shop floor; we are still a family business.
“Our unique selling point is that we sell and deliver directly from the source to our customers. This allows us to guarantee the best product for the right price.”

History
1997
Representing the youngest generation, Mark completed his agricultural training in 1997 before following in his father’s footsteps.
2007
The company officially passes from father to son. Hard work, honesty and responsible entrepreneurship still form the basis of our successful company. Continuing the company along these lines is still our goal.
2014
In mid-2014, we acquired the packaging company located on the Havenweg in Dinteloord. This is where our main production facility is currently located. Partly due to the increased capacity, we were also able to expand into various export markets. We have developed into one of the largest potato packers in the Netherlands.
Our unique selling point is that we sell and deliver directly from the source to our customers. This allows us to guarantee the best product for the right price.
2019
Despite some negative reports about our company, we are making every reasonable effort to carry on. Taking into consideration the local area and its residents and environment issues is certainly important to us. We are always open to discussing such matters and are happy to look for suitable solutions. We hope to continue in a positive way in the coming years.
2020
This year we are taking extra steps towards operating a sustainable business. For example, our roof has been largely renewed and the parts containing asbestos professionally removed. Not only that, because our roofs will also be covered with solar panels this year. So not only will we be a bit more sustainable ourselves, but we will also be putting the surface area of our premises to good use.
